Hello to everyone again! We are well into Term 2 now.
Here’s a snapshot of what to expect.
We have spent the first few weeks of the term revising
concepts to prepare for NAPLAN. I am very proud of the way your children
conducted themselves during the NAPLAN testing time. Each one gave their very
best effort with a positive attitude. I couldn’t have asked for more.

Science
We will be studying biological
science, discovering the characteristics of plants and animals and how they are
classified. This will lead into an exploration of a habitat. Children will
identify the living, once living and non-living things in that habitat. They
will then conduct an investigation into how climate change will affect that
habitat.
HASS
We will be looking at how
things have changed from the past to the present. Toys, communication,
transport etc.
Just a reminder that Super
Scientist is just around the corner. You would have received a note about this.
I will post the timetable up next to the classroom door for students to see
what day they are scheduled to present their experiment.
So much fun to be had in
Room 19!!
