We are slowly
going through the procedure for writing a persuasive argument. The children are learning to use a short, sharp, topic specific title with capital letters. They follow this with a rhetorical question
to make the reader wonder about what they will write about. Then they write their opinion statement
followed by a preview sentence which includes 3 reasons for our argument. That is just the introduction! We have lots of work ahead of us but I’m
really pleased with the writing the children have done so far. Their work has been displayed in the Block 4 wet area or at the back of our classroom. Come and have a read. You'll be really impressed.
