Welcome Back!
Hope everyone had a
wonderful holiday. I know some of you
enjoyed a holiday away from home and I was delighted to hear the excitement
from those who managed to get out and about our beautiful city. We certainly enjoyed
some fantastic weather.
This term will be a busy
one.
History
We will begin our term
with some lessons on Anzac Day. The
children were asked to design a war medal and complete questions describing
their choice for design. These are
displayed at the back of the classroom amongst other activities about Anzac
Day.
We will commence an
investigation on the Perth Bell Tower and the Perth Mint in the coming
weeks. We have some exciting things
planned for this term.
Science
We will be looking at
Living and Nonliving things and discovering life cycles of different animals and
plants. Be sure to come and see our ‘I wonder’ wall where the children will be
encouraged to pose questions about these topics.
We have some mealworms to
observe and we will be growing and observing the growth of broad beans.
